Victor Ayers
Teacher & ChoregrapherBarbara Ellis Studio of Dance

Victor Ayers Began his journey through dance at age three and found, that beyond possessing a natural affinity for the art form, he also held a deep-seated passion for it. At age ten Victor discovered and began his pre-professional training with the Colorado Jazz Dance Company (CJDC). Under the direction of Zetta Alderman, Victor studied with CJDC until 2006 when he graduated from high school; the next step on this journey was college.

With great effort by his mother and himself, Victor was accepted into the University of Arizona (UA) Dance program as a major and received multiple generous scholarships to aid as he continued his pursuit of dance and artistry. In his four years at the UA, Victor worked with/performed works by artists such as Chet Walker, Ben Vereen, Bill Hastings, Donna Mckechnie, Anne Reinking, Donald McKayle, George Balanchine, and Mia Michaels. In 2010 Victor completed his final year at UA and entered the professional world with great anticipation, a BFA in dance, and his first contract with Royal Caribbean Productions.

After eight brilliant years with Royal Caribbean Productions, three of which were aboard the Oasis of the Seas performing Hairspray and the aerial spectacular Come Fly with Me, Victor is thrilled and honored to be back on land and working as a guest artist/instructor and choreographer. Victor hopes to grow his passion for building choreography and inspire all generations of artists with his knowledge.
